FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of pneumohydraulic shock absorbers for protection of objects against intensive impact and vibration action. SUBSTANCE: proposed shock absorber has housing with hollow rod provided with stop coaxially mounted in housing, hollow double-stage plunger with stop and partition with holes where damping and check valves are mounted. Mounted in hydraulic chamber along axis of plunger on partition is additional rod with axial hole which is communicated with holes in partition. Free and of additional rod is located in cavity of hollow rod becoming engageable with sealing box mounted in it; lateral surfaces of hollow rod and plunger have holes for bringing the working chambers in communication with damping and check valves. Lateral surfaces of hollow rod and plunger are provided with additional stops for engagement with bang-bang valves fitted on rod and on plunger. Bang-bang valves may be provided with outer or end circular grooves. Outer circular grooves may be used for mounting side sealing stacks and end circular grooves may be used for mounting the end sealing rings. Additional stops may be provided with end circular sealing projections. EFFECT: increased power intensity; possibility of performing two-sided damping. 5 cl, 5 dwg
