FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shock-absorber has housing and hollow plunger that is coaxially mounted inside it. A baffle with openings and chamber is mounted inside the space of the plunger to form air and hydraulic spaces. The damping valve has needle with an axial passageway, plate at one of its ends, and a piston at the other one. The piston of the valve is positioned in the chamber of the baffle to form under-piston space coupled with the hydraulic space and above-piston space connected with the air space through the axial passageway of the needle. The plunger may be double-stage. The diameter of the plate of the valve may be greater than the diameter of the valve piston . EFFECT: improved shock-absorbing. 2 cl, 2 dwg
