FIELD: electric means of initiation used for ignition of powder charges and various fuels in rocket systems. SUBSTANCE: the electric fuse has a body, initiating unit with conductors placed in an insulator, resistance bridges, initiating charge, obturating unit, pyrotechnic charge and a compensating washer. The obturating unit is made in the form of a cylinder with an obturating cone placed in it and an external sealing ring installed in a groove of the cylinder side surface. The cylinder is installed in the internal bore of the body for axial displacement. The compensating washer is made of elastic material having a thickness equal to 2 to 5 values of the gap between the shoulder of the body internal bore and the obturating unit. The initiating unit is provided with an electric spark gap made in the form of a limited gap in the insulator between the conductors and the body determined by the value of the necessary discharge voltage of static electricity.
