FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electric spark igniter contains a body wherein a non-conductor is positioned with power points embedded therein. A bridgewire connects the ends of the power points projecting over the surface of the non-conductor made of a ceramic material; the bridgewire is placed inside an igniter compound generating electrically non-conductive cinders when burnt. Installed inside the electric spark igniter body is a static electricity arrester.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of automatic disconnection from the power supply.
