FIELD: trawl fishing equipment. SUBSTANCE: otter board is used for creating tensile force during trawl fishing and has at least two wings arranged between longitudinal ribs so as to define at least one narrowing channel, along which water flow is directed through otter board. Narrowing channels are made curved so that water is ejected at higher speed as compared to towing speed in slightly downward direction along respective end part of adjacent lower or intermediate wing. This end part is extending from outlet openings of narrowing channels. Such construction prevents occurrence of turbulence even at large angles of attack of otter board. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency. 17 cl, 16 dwg
