FIELD: water transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to towing trawl equipment using trawl doors. Disclosed is trawl board (37) comprising flow accelerator (8) and a overlapping sequence of several very thin underwater wings (2), wherein flow accelerator (8), made in form of thick hydrofoil with inner cavity (32), is aerodynamically inefficient in itself with volumetric relative thickness exceeding 24 %, and arranged substantially lower than trawl board rear part (37) such that flow accelerator (8) forms structurally connected integrated part with underwater wings (2), and acted on the upstream flow, pumping it into the accelerated velocity region (28) upstream of flow accelerator (8) and trawl board (1) pressure side (31), so that flow is pre-accelerated before passing through trawl board channels (29) between underwater wings (2). In addition, some methods of using such trawl board (37) are disclosed.
EFFECT: invention provides improved operational characteristics of the trawl door.
