FIELD: polymeric composition. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric compositions based on woven carbon material and thermoreactive binding agent. Antifriction composition has 51.5 wt.-% of treated reinforcing fabric made of carbon fiber and 48.5 wt.-% of polymeric thermoreactive binding agent based on phenolformaldehyde resin or chlorine- containing polyglycidylarylenediamine resin. Reinforcing fabric made of carbon fiber with the mean size of crystallite 3.0-6.0 nm by basic plane and basic plane packet thickness 1.0-4.0 nm is treated with polytetrafluoroethylene an aqueous dispersion with particle size 0.1-0.4 mcm and concentration 2.5-6.5%. Mass ratio of reinforcing fabric and polytetrafluoroethylene = (48.5-50.5) : (1-3). Then treated fabric is impregnated with polymeric thermoreactive binding agent, dried and pressed to obtain antifriction compositions with high strength indices that can be exploited under condition of dry friction in the absence of lubricant. Invention can be used for making large-scale articles of antifriction designation, for example, bearings and pump front seals, hydraulic turbines, load-lifting mechanisms, drilling equipment and so on.
