FIELD: medicine, obstetrics, gynecology. SUBSTANCE: pregnant woman is tested by conducting spectral-fluorescent assay of an extract of erythrocytar porphyrins' fractions in venous blood. Concentration of coproporphyrins and that of protoporphyrins and the ratio of the former to the latter are, also, detected. For pregnant women at the pure-type gestosis at the ratio value ranged 7.5-10 the stage I is determined, at decreased ratio value ranged 7.5-6.0 - stage II is determined. In pregnant women at combined type of gestosis, when ratio value ranges 5.5-10.0 the stage I is detected, at its decrease to 5.5-3.5 - the stage II and below 3.5 - the stage III of gestosis are established. EFFECT: higher accuracy, information content, sensitivity and objectivity at differentiated detection of gestosis seriousness degree. 1 tbl
