FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in voltage regulator primarily used for electric generators of off-line power systems are first and second transistors of same polarity of conductivity as power transistor, RC delay circuit, and third transistor of reverse polarity of conductivity whose collector is connected through first resistor to base of first transistor; base-emitter junction of the latter is shorted out by second resistor and collector is connected to base of power transistor and to emitter of second transistor; collector of the latter is connected through third resistor to common power bus and through RC delay circuit, to base of third transistor whose emitter is connected to collector of power transistor and through positive feedback circuit, to first input of OR gate; second input of the latter is connected to second output of sawtooth voltage generator; rectangular-waveform pulse voltage is built up across this generator and its output is connected to second input of OR gate whose output is connected through intermediate-frequency amplifier to base of second transistor; emitter of power transistor and that of first transistor are interconnected and connected to power bus such as that of electric-generator armature circuit.
