FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotating cutting disk and two transporting disks arranged axially above cutting disk in spaced relation one with respect to the other. Transporting disks are equipped with circumferentially arranged transportation teeth and slots. Slots of at least one of transporting disks define two holding chambers. Transporting teeth catch stalks cut by means of cutting disk. Two holding chambers defined by slots in transporting disks and separated by tips enable stalks to be fixed and retained against falling without additional guiding members.
