FIELD: umbrellas furnished with lighting devices. SUBSTANCE: umbrella has upper lighting system arranged on top end of staff and peripheral lighting system on loose ends of each spoke, as well as control device. Upper lighting system has transparent tube-shaped member accommodating light-emitting diode. Peripheral lighting system has set of transparent caps each accommodating diode. Control device has control unit, electrical connections, and two main electrical conductors providing for their interconnections. In case of rainfall umbrella lighting device illuminates person which makes the latter visible for other persons and vehicles. EFFECT: enhanced safety of person in the rain. 20 cl, 21 dwg
