FIELD: vehicle lighting system.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vehicle lighting systems. Lighting system for vehicle steering assembly comprises element extending from steering column, light source and first photoluminescent structure. Light source has a plurality of independently illuminated areas surrounding the outer periphery of the steering wheel and configured to illuminate the portion of the element. Photoluminescent structure is located on the element and is made with possibility of luminescence in response to excitation by the light source. Light source portion is functionally connected to the photoluminescent structure during rotation of the steering wheel.
EFFECT: higher quality of illumination of various areas of vehicle.
