FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: sewing module has mounting plate with guiding slots for receiving related guiding protrusions at operating position of intermediate table. Input shaft of sewing head is equipped with joining half-coupling put onto shaft through flexible coupling, and is arranged in lower part of housing. Sewing module is further equipped with device for retaining thereof at operating position of intermediate table to allow sewing module to be automatically joined to half-coupling of standardized drive of sewing unit. Members for holding sewing head casing on mounting plate and for installing mounting plate at operating position of intermediate table are made in the form of guiding slots arranged on lower side of sewing head casing platform and related guiding slots formed on lower side of mounting plate, as well as in the form of guiding slots formed on lower side of mounting plate and adapted for receiving related guiding protrusions at operating position of intermediate table. Device for retaining mounting plate at operating position of intermediate table is made in the form of conical blind openings arranged on lower side of mounting plate and auxiliary cavities arranged in their upper narrow part and adapted for receiving hollow conical stop rods of intermediate table. Mounting plate retaining device provides for reliable retaining thereof owing to vacuum created by related vacuum pumps.
