FIELD: construction engineering; erection of various pipe lines for handling aggressive media. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical inserts found inside ends of pipe are multi-layer; they are made from thin-walled corrosion-resistant metal at thickness of wall of 0.05 to 1.5 mm; insert is made by winding or from separate rings; outer surface of outer layer is connected with inner surface of pipe ends and with each other by bonding, soldering, welding or their combination. Inner of inserts are stepped in form; each step has one or several coils or separate rings; step is provided with inner protective coat. Thickness of walls of outer ends of inserts ranges from 0.7 to 5 mm depending on thickness of pipe wall. Layers of inserts are made from corrosion-resistant metal at different thickness of wall; inner layers have thicker walls. Butts of layers of outer ends of inserts are connected with each other and with metal of pipe by intermittent or continuous corrosion-resistant weld. Layers of insert may be insulated by means of adhesive anti-corrosive dielectric material or interconnected by means of adhesive anticorrosive protective material. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pipe line. 6 cl, 4 dwg
