FIELD: pond pisciculture. SUBSTANCE: young fish is raised in fry ponds arranged at the upper part of the finishing pond water area at the amount corresponding to that of the fish types under raising. Raised young fish is annually transferred into the finishing pond directly. Then fry ponds are used to produce zooplankton to be later applied into the finishing one. Young fish transfer and zooplankton application is performed due to the by-passing connection of fry ponds with the finishing pond water area. The fish is caught when its mass of commodities is achieved. Fish catching is conducted selectively with the help of hydrotechnical structure at the upper part of the finishing pond water area due to concentration of the fish as a result of water flow supply followed by arranging a movable calibrating framework right in the place of its connection with the main finishing pond water area. EFFECT: increased fish productivity, decreased financial and labor expenses, higher economy of natural resources, prolonged terms for commodity fish marketing. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
