FIELD: homogenizing and mixing devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed checkerwork is designed for packed column or station mixing device. Checkerwork is made of adjoining layers 10, each provided with channels 2 arranged in parallel to each other. Lateral channels 20 opened to each other pass between adjacent layers. These lateral channels form cross structure. At least one part of layers 10 is provided with central channels 21, addition to lateral channels 20. Material separation at boundaries between central and lateral channels is obtained approximately on one half with uniformly arranged lengths of walls. Channels are open is zones of other half of boundary. EFFECT: provision of effective homogenization and mixing at reduced energy dissipation. 10 cl, 11 dwg
