FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixing of fluid components and may be used, particularly, for liquefied natural gas processing, automotive industry and chemical industry. Proposed mixer comprises inlet with first cross section located in plane perpendicular to main flow direction in said inlet, and outlet with second cross section located in plane perpendicular to main flow direction in said outlet. Mixer cross section varies continuously from first cross section to second cross section. Mixer flow separation plates are arranged to allow precise adjustment of mixing element in continuously widening fluid conducting means.
EFFECT: uniform distribution of fluid in continuously widening pipeline section.
