FIELD: production of molded bodies. SUBSTANCE: method involves solving cellulose in tertiary amine oxide optionally containing up to 20 wt% of water; introducing linear synthetic polymer with molecular weight of from 5•103 to 1•107 in an amount of 0.2-20% by weight of cellulose. Resultant molded body has improved strength and lengthening coefficient, reduced fibrillation characteristics. Also, molded body water absorbing capacity may be regulated.
