FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: unit has carding machine, belt- type divider with strippers arranged in vertical plane such that disks of one stripper are inserted into slots between disks of other stripper. Web carrying belts of upper stripper press it to circumference of disks of lower stripper, and vice versa, belts of lower stripper press it to circumference of upper stripper. Single-sided spinning-twisting or circular spinning machines adjoin at an angle to divider at its two edges so as to form equilateral angle. Divided web strips are fed from belts of divider to spindles of yarn forming machines moving away from belts by means of transportation system composed of transportation belts, whose individual guiding rolls are arranged above spindles joined to them and allowing web strips to be transformed into ready yarn. Unit is mainly used in cotton production and allows single- thread or twist thread to be continuously produced from fibrous mass. EFFECT: stabilized and uniform operation of unit, reduced power consumption, increased efficiency and wider range of basic materials used in the process. 2 cl, 2 dwg
