FIELD: electrical engineering; mercury-free metal-halide lamps for plant photoculture. SUBSTANCE: lamp has torch made of optically transparent material that accommodates hermetically sealed electrodes and is filled with inert gas and halides radiating in green spectrum of metal. Use is made of dopes providing torch with cobalt halides; amount of components is as follows: mc. mole/cu. cm: indium halides - 0.1-4.0; sodium halides - 0.25-9.0; dopes providing for cobalt halides - 0.2-10.0; inert gas pressure is 26.6-2000.0 kPa. In order to raise radiation efficiency for plant photoculture lamp torch may be doped, in addition, with lithium halides in the amount of 0.3-10.0 mc. mole/cu. cm. In addition, dopes providing for copper halides in the amount of 0.4-15.0 mc. mole/cu. cm may be introduced in torch to reduce concentration of nitrates in fruit and vegetables. EFFECT: improved environmental friendliness of lamp. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
