DRY MIX AND METHOD OF ITS PREPARATION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mortars, concretes, artificial stones or similar materials containing inorganic binders or reaction product from inorganic or organic binders; dry mix and method of its preparation in particular. SUBSTANCE: dry mix includes cement, sand, plasticizer which is just superplasticizer C-3 mechanically activated by grinding at acceleration of from 10 to 20 g to reduction of interphase energy. The ratio of the components is as follows, mass-%: cement, 17 to 40; sand, 60 to 83; superplasticizer C-3, 0.5 to 2 mass-% of mass of cement. Dry mix may also additionally contain anti-freeze compound in addition to above-mentioned additives. Besides that, dry mix may contain compacting additive in the amount of from 0.5 to 2 mass-% of mass of cement. Besides that, dry may include dispersing reinforcing additive in the amount of from 0.5 to 2 mass-% of mass of cement. Mix may also contain pigment additive in the amount of from 0.5 to 15 mass-% of mass of cement. Method of preparation of dry mix consists in mixing sand, cement, plasticizer, superplasticiser C-3 is preliminarily subjected to mechanical activation by grinding it at acceleration of 10 to 20 g to reduction of interphase energy, after which cement concentrate is prepared by mixing preset part of cement with mechanically activated superplasticizer C-3; then, cement concentrate thus obtained is mixed with sand and remaining part of cement. Proposed method provides also for preparation of cement concentrate by mixing preset part of cement with mechanically activated superplasticizer C-3 with at least one of the following additives: anti-freeze, additive, compacting additive, dispersing-and-reinforcing additive and dyeing additive.
