METHOD OF PRODUCING PLASTICIZED CEMENT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction material industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to producing high-grade quick-hardening cast cement with plasticizing additives and can be used in production of reinforced concrete articles and structures without steam-treatment and also of support arches in driving underground tunnels at temperature of 5-10 C, as well as in producing special thin-wall high-strength articles of complex configuration. Method implies combined milling of primary cement and superplasticizer in vibration-centrifugal mill at acceleration of 10-20 g. Plasticizer is taken in amount of 2-5% of initial mass and it is preliminarily subjected to activation in vibration-centrifugal mill at acceleration of 10-20 g. To produce special quick-hardening portland cement, taken as primary material is 100% portland cement clinker, and for quick-hardening portland cement and slag-portland cement, additionally introduced in milling is mineral additive in amount of 5-40% depending on grade of cement. For using aforesaid grades of cement at low ambient temperatures, feasible is introduction in milling of antifreeze additives in amount not over 5% of initial mass.
