HYDROLYSIS-RESISTANT ALIPHATIC POLYESTERAMIDE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2182158 C2

FIELD: organic chemistry, polymers. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel hydrolysis-resistant aliphatic polyesteramides of high molecular mass and containing chains with partially terminal isocyanate groups that are used especially for making materials conferring rigidity property for shoes. Polyesteramides are synthesized by triple, if necessary, two-stage polycondensation from the following monomers: a) from diols of the general formula: HO-R1-OH where R1 means aliphatic residue with 2-16 but preferably with 4-12 carbon atoms (component (a)); b) dicarboxylic acids of the general formula: HOOC-R2-COOH where R2 means aliphatic residue with 1-14 but preferably with 2-8 carbon atoms (component (b)); c) diamines of the general formula: where R3 means aliphatic residue with 2-16 but preferable with 4-8 carbon atoms (component (c)) being this component (c) is used in concentrations up to 5 wt. -% as measure for the sum of components forming chains; inorganic compound of bivalent tin is used as a catalyst (component (d)) in combination with organic and/or inorganic phosphorus compound (component (d)) followed by treatment of synthesized by this manner polymer with polyfunctional isocyanate compound (component (e)). The synthesized polyesteramide has a viscosity value at least 50 000 mPa . s showing low tendency to recrystallization and sufficient strength in combination with required elasticity value. EFFECT: new polymers indicated above, valuable chemical properties, resistance to hydrolysis. 8 cl, 1 tbl, 7 ex
