FIELD: hydroelectric power engineering. SUBSTANCE: power unit has two pairs of bottom-mounted supports for horizontal power take-off shaft installed thereon for rotation and kinematically coupled with electric generator, as well as flat float arranged under shaft on water surface whose lower central part is secured with aid of flexible member to bottom and upper central member mounts vertical post whose loose top is made in the form of U-shaped fork loosely embracing power take-off shaft; inner surface of U-shaped fork is covered with rubber layer and cylindrical surface of steel shaft is knurled at point of its contact with fork. EFFECT: provision for continuous running of unit with tidal waves periodically varying their direction. 4 dwg
