FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant is designed for conversion of energy of waves into electric energy. Plant contains power takeoff shaft connected to electric generator and installed in rotary support, and two floats located eccentrically relative to shaft axis and displaced relative to each other circumferentially. Plant is furnished also with two additional shafts freely fitted in rotary supports coaxially with power takeoff shaft at different sides relative to power takeoff shaft and friction coupled with the latter by means of two coil cylindrical springs of different hand of helix. Each spring is tightly fitted on one of ends of power takeoff shaft and end of adjacent additional shaft. Floats are cantilever secured in diametrically opposite points of additional shaft surfaces for adjusting and fixing the floats in position. EFFECT: increased efficiency. 1 dwg
