FIELD: rolled stock production, namely sealing units of bearing assemblies of rolling rolls. SUBSTANCE: sealing unit includes back lid with radial collar type sealing, adaptor, journal fit onto sleeve, end cover and elastic seal. Sealing unit is provided with antifriction ring (having annular groove on its inner surface) and end groove. Antifriction ring is mounted in end cover with possibility of motion in radial direction and it is placed on adaptor with possibility of rotation of adaptor relative to ring. Variable-thickness gaskets are arranged between back lid and end cover. Elastic seal is placed between ends of antifriction ring and turning of end cover. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, increased useful life period of bearing assembly. 6 dwg
