FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining T- lymphocyte, B-lymphocyte and immunoglobulin A content in blood sample. Circulating immune complexes (CIC) and eosinophil value are additionally determined and severity index (SI) of the disease is calculated from formula SI=(CIC/100 + B-lymphocytes + eosinophils)/( T- lymphocytes + immunoglobulin A), where CIC is represented in conditional units, B-lymphocytes - 10^9/l, eosinophils - 10^9/l, T- lymphocytes - 10^9/l, immunoglobulin A - g/l. Severity index being less than 50 conditional units, normal case is to be diagnosed. The index being from 0.51 to 0.80, mild degree is considered to be the case. The index being from 0.81 to 0.95, moderate degree is considered to be the case. The index being greater than 0.95, severe degree is considered to be the case.
