FIELD: rolling equipment. SUBSTANCE: guide of rolling mill includes nose engaging with barrel of rolling roll and pivot jointly mounted on axle in reinforcing bar with gap between supporting surface of pivot and said bar. There is gentle protrusion on working surface of pivot; said protrusion is placed over reinforcing bar behind axle for jointly mounting pivot. At rolling process strip leaving rolling rolls acts upon said protrusion in order to provide torque for rotating guide relative to axle until contact of supporting surface of pivot with horizontal surface of reinforcing bar. It provides opening of gap between guide nose and barrel of roll and prevents wear of guide nose and roll. EFFECT: lowered wear of guide nose and rolls, reduced electric energy consumption, enhanced quality of rolled pieces. 1 cl, 3 dwg
