FIELD: deposition of coats. SUBSTANCE: technology of surface modification consists in filling of tank with modifying compound presenting aqueous- organic solution of nanostructure of particles of silver and in holding this solution in tank in the course of definite time. In this case periodic spectrophotometric measurements of optical density of solution changing in time thanks to absorption of nanostructure particles of silver from solution to surface of tank made of steel, ceramics, polymer material, porcelain, earthenware are conducted. Solution is held in tank in the course of 40-50 h at temperature of 16-20 C till optical density of solution reaches preset value. Then tank is freed from solution and is washed twice in turn at room temperature with hydrocarbon, water-alcohol solution ( 1:1 ) and with distilled water in the course of 30 min. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of bactericidal action on cells of bacteria on surface of tank modified by nanoparticles of silver.
