ADJUSTABLE SUCTION GEAR OF DREDGE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: hydraulic excavation and hydraulic mining. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in mining of placer deposits of high density in underwater mines. Purpose of invention is increasing efficiency of taking out of heavy components from underwater placer deposits of different fraction al composition. Proposed adjustable suction gear of dredge has suction head with hollow slot ring shield provided with solid rigid disk found at level of head mouth, lower fixed disk provided with radial slots in form of sectors, low vertical shoulder in central part and high vertical shoulder over periphery by means of which solid rigid disk is connected with lower fixed disk, and upper movable disk provided with shoulders for preventing its displacement at turning and with slots in form of sectors compatible in size with radial slots of lower fixed disk. Upper movable disk is installed for adjusting turning around central axle relative to lower fixed disk and fixing on the latter. EFFECT: increased efficiency of taking out of heavy components. 2 dwg
