FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to hydromechanization and it can be used in mining gravel deposits of minerals of high density in underwater faces. Rotary suction device of suction-tube rotary dredger includes pipeline, suction head with ring shield containing disk installed at moth level, bead coupling disk with sectors radial slots, stiffening ribs and suction head rotary drive including series-coupled electric motor, safety clutch, reduction gear, propeller shaft and chain drive to rotate ring shield. Suction head is connected with pipeline by means of rotary insert provided with fitted-on support adjustable in height to adjust tension of drive chain. EFFECT: improved efficiency of mining gravel deposits, reduced losses of precious components of high density. 2 dwg
