FIELD: technology of water supply, particularly, supply with potable water under field desert conditions. SUBSTANCE: device for water production under desert conditions by method of withdrawal of condensate of transpiration moisture of desert plants includes polyethylene film for plant covering. At night time when photosynthesis discontinues, use is made of luminescent lamp for plant illumination. Said luminescent lamp has a 24-W reflector installed on folding rod and is connected with a 10-Ah alkali storage battery combined with voltage converter. Installed on lower branch pipe of vessel formed by polyethylene film is a filter with activated carbon impregnated with 4% of silver. The filter is capable of water purifying from harmful impurities and pathogenic microbe flora. A solar battery with area of 0.1 sq. m with mosaic concentrators and gallium-arsenide converters is used for recharging the storage battery during day time under field conditions. The solar battery ensures the storage battery recharging with conversion efficiency up to 20% and specific power up to 200 W/sq.m. EFFECT: higher efficiency of device in production of water from transpiration moisture of desert plants. 2 dwg
