SUBSTANCE: device has at least two metering rings with ultrasonic transducers equally spaced apart around flow and at least one annular capacitive transducer designed to determine type of flow. Metering rings with transducers enable location of phase interfaces for measuring relative volume of each phase irrespective of whether it is gas-piston, stratified, or any other flow.
