FIELD: machine engineering, possibly grinding rigid surfaces such as stone floors. SUBSTANCE: face grinding mobile machine includes housing, reduction gear mounted on housing and having drive input shaft with central pinion and two output shafts with terminal pinions and with grinding heads in the form of discs carrying abrasive members turned to ground surface. Reduction gear has central pinion engaging with terminal pinions of output shafts ( with one of those terminal pinions - through idle gear). Grinding heads have on their flat faces dovetail joints for mounting trapezoidal (in plane of disc) abrasive members with inclined lateral surfaces in such a way that large bases of said members are turned one to another. Distance from disc rotation axis until its circumferential edge in zones for mounting abrasive members is larger than distance from disc rotation axis until its circumferential edge in zones between assemblies for mounting abrasive members. At least one abrasive member of one of discs mounted on output shafts is turned to other disc in zone between abrasive members of the last disc. Spacing between output shafts of reduction gear is less than diameter of disc passing through mounting assembly of abrasive member. Such construction provides mutual overlapping of zones of ground surface by grinding heads. EFFECT: improved design of grinding head and face grinding machine. 2 cl, 5 dwg
