FIELD: construction engineering; designed for making guyed sailed roof of simple and complicated configuration in space covering large spans. SUBSTANCE: roof is made by hinging of adjacent flexible members to length of hollow beam so that they are located with gap, and load-carrying rope freely passes through beam cavity. In this case, all system is prestressed by rope. Further stress of rope is brought about in installation of system in designed position due to mutual turning and self-stressing of curved flexible members. They are hinged to hollow beams and may or may not cross one another in system plane. If flexible members do not cross one another, hollow beams to which they are fastened are made with two cantilevers. EFFECT: simplified design solutions of fastening units of structure members and simplified technology of construction of guyed roof. 5 cl, 6 dwg
