FLOATING FERRY WITH FLOATING MODULE AND FLOATING SUPPORT WITH PYLON Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B63B35/34 E01D15/14

Abstract RU 2699198 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: proposed floating ferry with floating module and floating support with pylon relates to means of overcoming water obstacles and transportation of people and cargoes through water obstacles. Combination of proposed support with lattice spatial pylon passing through entire support to bottom of counterweight, and with system of high-strength cables can serve as basis for various mobile production and civil floating structures. All elements of floating ferry are equipped with own buoyancy and own stability. Mobility of floating ferry is provided besides stability of its elements by assemblage of design of communication units, which provides for delivery, assembly and transformation of floating ferry. Main element of the floating crossing is single-span or multi-span. Floating module includes floating supports with a pylon, a float system and a counterbalance, a span beam with the named number of spans and two cantilevers located on girders of pylons. All elements are united by cable system from prestressed high-strength cables. Said span beam supports road load. Inclined top and bottom cables transfer forces from this load to pylons and floating supports. Horizontal upper air vanes and horizontal lower submarines provide considerable stability of the module in longitudinal direction. Stability of the module in transverse direction is provided by oppositely directed buoyancy forces of the float system and gravity of the massive counterweight. Spans between supports allow navigation. Special modules with navigable spans are provided for passage of large vessels. Fixation of floating ferry on route is made by anchors on ropes attached to bottom of floating supports.

EFFECT: minimum disturbance of underwater environment without destruction of existing ecosystems is achieved.
