METHOD OF ROCKS GROUTING WITH NONUNIFORM JOINTING Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry, particularly, rock grouting round workings with cement mortars for formation of grouting curtain or consolidation of rock mass. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of main and additional holes; pressure injection of water into additional hole ensuring expansion of thin fractures; pressure injection of grouting mortar into main holes. Main and additional holes are drilled in pair. Injection of water into additional hole and grouting mortar into main hole are carried out simultaneously. Grouting mortar is injected into main hole under pressure exceeding pressure of water injection by 1-2 MPa. It provides for required radius of spreading of grouting mortar from hole. Injection of grouting mortar is ended with reduction of mortar absorption by rock mass down to 5-10%. After that, drilling of next pair of main and additional holes performed, and process is repeated. EFFECT: reduced labor input of grouting operations and higher density of filling of fractures due to combination in time and space of grouting of large fractures; expansion and grouting of thin fractures. 2 cl, 1 dwg
