FIELD: biasing of audio records. SUBSTANCE: device has high-frequency filter for passing only high-frequency components of input audio signal and oscillatory biasing signal generator. It also has high-frequency component level detector, multiplier that functions to multiply signal arriving from biasing generator by detector output signal, and differential amplifier for generating biasing signal as differential signal of multiplied one and oscillatory biasing signal. Biasing signal has predetermined level when low- and intermediate-frequency components are prevailing in input audio signal. When high-frequency components are prevailing in input audio signal, biasing signal level is inversely proportional to level of input audio signal high-frequency components. In this way saturation of high-frequency components due to self-biasing effect is prevented. EFFECT: improved signal-to-noise ratio for high-frequency components. 3 cl, 1 dwg
