FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has facial mask having the first tube connected to gas cylinder filled with compressed air. The device also has an additional smoke protection filter usable in situations of directly threatening to life. The filter has body fixable on the mask. It is filled with filtering material and has inlet opening letting the air in and outlet opening for making attachment to the second mask tube. Air enters the space under the mask from the gas cylinder under usual conditions. No air being available in the cylinder, the filter starts operating. The filter has control unit for recording the event of using filter. The device is manufacturable as single use cover for closing the filter inlet opening and/or valve mounted in the second mask tube a part of which tears off when opening the valve. EFFECT: simplified use and preparation to operation; provided filter usage control. 18 cl, 5 dwg
