SUBSTANCE: invention relates to individual means of respiratory protection, in particular, to the means of emergency evacuation or self-rescuers, which can be used, for example, in an emergency, in case of emergency evacuation from burning buildings and constructions, or from the area of infection by dangerous chemicals. A portable device for respiratory protection of a person includes a housing adapted to place an oxygen balloon and a filter unit. The housing is provided with tubes for nasal application and connected with them with at least two air channels interconnected through a check valve, with one channel is connected to an oxygen balloon and is equipped with a pressure regulator, the second - with the environment and is made passing through the filter unit.
EFFECT: invention is a reliable and effective portable means providing breathing for a person in extreme situations and for protection against inhalation by a person of toxic, in particular, carbon emissions.
