FIELD: food, pharmaceutical, electronic, chemical industries; microfiltration of liquid and gaseous medium. SUBSTANCE: proposed cartridge filter element has corrugated filtering film and inner perforated tube, both connected with end faces parts. Filtering film is made of polytetrafluoroethylene and it has pores of size from 1 to 100 mкm at effective porosity not less than 40% and thickness of film from 100 to 900 mкm,. Preferable is thickness from 300 to 600 mкm. Inner surface of film is profiled in form of points of height up to 20% of film thickness. Inner perforated tube and end face parts of filtering element are also made of polytetrafluoroethylene. Inner perforated tube and corrugated filtering film are welded to end face parts at both sides to preclude liquid flow in zones of welding. Cartridge filter element can be provided with outer support elements in of perforated skeleton or belts made of polytetrafluoroenthylene. EFFECT: provision of high capacity filter element for operation in neutral and aggressive media at temperatures from -50 C to +150 C and pressure differential up to 0.6 MPa.
