FIELD: mechanical engineering for finishing blanks of parts and tools. SUBSTANCE: sectional grinding wheel has metal body where change members are mounted; change members have bearing working layers made from superhard abrasive material; body is also provided with mechanism for securing the said layers. Change members are made in form of triangular inserts whose faces carrying the working layers made from superhard abrasive material have different length and their radius is equal to radius of working surface of wheel. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities of wheel; possibility of adjusting length of cutting surfaces of change members depending on conditions of machining. 2 dwg
