FIELD: the invention refers to the field of abrasive treatment.

SUBSTANCE: it may be used at manufacturing face circles for effective roughing finishing and finishing treatment of half-finished details of machines and instruments. The abrasive circle has a metallic chuck, removable segments having working abrasive surface and a fastening mechanism of segments. The removable segments are fulfilled in the shape of parts of circular ring. The abrasive layers out of extra-hard material are fixed on their both face surfaces. The segments are placed on the periphery of the chuck with possibility of turning relatively to axles installed in radial openings of the chuck.

EFFECT: increases longevity of the face abrasive circle with layers out of extra-hard material till its full wear.
