FIELD: water purification equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical housing equipped with conical bottom and filled with contact suspended mass, pipeline adapted to supply water for clarifying process and connected to housing conical bottom, ejector for tangential feeding of pulp through pipeline into upper part of housing, diaphragm formed as inverted truncated cone, collecting trough with discharge pipelines for clarified and washing water. Housing has conical thin-layer module located in upper part above diaphragm and connected to semi-submerged cylinder, air ejector adapted for tangential feeding of pulp into semi-submerged cylinder to the level below water level at an angle to water surface and connected to pulp feeding pipeline. Annular slit-type tubular clarified water distributing system is positioned in lower part of housing and connected to pipeline for conveying water to be clarified. Apparatus allows water to be effectively clarified in suspended layer of sediment and washing to be performed during filtering. Contact mass may be repeatedly used. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced consumption of reactants. 1 dwg
