FIELD: processes and equipment for cleaning water with the aid of reagents. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes cylindrical housing with bottom, pipeline for tangentially supplying pulp, collecting trough with pipeline for removing clarified water, diaphragm in the form of truncated cone. Pipeline for supplying pulp is joined with housing under diaphragm but higher than low small base of cone. Housing is loaded with contact suspended mass and it is provided with pipeline for feeding water to be clarified. Said pipeline is connected with lower portion of cone bottom of housing. Ejector feeds pulp to upper portion of housing. Collecting trough includes in addition pipeline for removing washing water. EFFECT: high degree of water clarification in suspended layer of deposit, possibility of washing and multiple use of contact mass, reduced consumption of reagent at cleaning water. 1 dwg
