FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: sealing head includes body with duct to feed medium linked to shut-off valve, pressure-relief valve on one side and sealing chamber formed by surface of annular groove in side surface of sealing member reinforced with angle-pieces located among sector inserts, butt surfaces of bearing bushings, sealing member being positioned between them, and internal surface of distance sleeve having through holes over periphery of side surface on the other side. In agreement with invention degree of compression of sealing member is tested by control system connected to pressure transducer, pressure-relief valve and shut-off valve. In addition, sealing member has sealing edges over butt and working surfaces formed by crossing of ring recess and chamfer of internal diameter and crossing of chamfers of side and butt surfaces.
