FIELD: hydrometallurgy of non-ferrous metals; counter-flow mass-transfer processes in solid-liquid systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes leaching of solid phase by counter-flow contact of solid with flow of liquid when pulsations are applied to liquid. Liquid phase is supplied from zone where solid phase is flushed with two pulse ascending central and peripheral flows which are additionally set in pulsating mode in horizontal plane in reaction zone, pulp is twisted and last flow is dampened before thickening zone by means of packings. Reactor has vertical cylindrical housing, contact packings arranged in reaction zone and phase inlet and outlet branch pipes. The packings are arranged for twisting pulp flow; last packing (in way pf motion of liquid phase) is arranged for change of direction of twisting to opposite at pitch exceeding pitch of lower contact packings. Liquid phase inlet branch pipes are located in flushing zone in lower portion of housing on its taper and cylindrical surfaces tangentially relative to them. Reaction zone of reactor is connected with pulse chamber by means of pipe line. Reaction zone of reactor is connected with pulse chamber by means of pipe line.
