FIELD: mineral concentration equipment and method. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminarily aerating and treating pulp with reactants; providing tangential feeding of pulp into upper cylindrical part of housing composed of cylindrical and conical parts; additionally aerating pulp in upper cylindrical part of housing; removing formed mineralized layer through central branch pipe from free flowing pulp; removing tailings from housing lower part. Mineralized layer formed during aeration is removed from lower conical part of housing from funnel-shaped pulp body formed by swirling pulp flow. Method further involves supplying water into upper cylindrical housing part for providing steady-state funnel formation. Centrifugal flotation machine has housing composed of upper cylindrical part incorporating concentrically arranged tubular aerators, air supplying branch pipe, and tangential supply branch pipe, and lower conical part, as well as concentrate discharge branch pipe. Flotation machine is further provided with tangential branch pipe for supplying water into upper cylindrical housing part. Concentrate discharge branch pipe is positioned in conical housing part so that its upper cut may be adjusted with respect to lower cut of lower conical part of housing.
