FIELD: mineral concentration, namely processes and apparatuses for treating by flotation method.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of aerating air bubbles to lower part of housing in the form of truncated perforated cone with possibility of supplying aerated bubbles to flotation process; supplying initial pulp preliminarily treated by reagents directly on created by rotation concave surface of water; supplying additional water to lower part of housing for providing stable concave surface of water. Apparatus includes cylinder-cone housing whose lower part is in the form of perforated truncated cone with shell; branch pipes for feeding pulp and water; branch pipe for discharging tails out of top of cone in lower part of housing. Upper part of housing is open for freely discharging froth product by overflowing. Branch pipe for feeding initial pulp is mounted coaxially to housing; its lower cut is arranged in lower part of housing. Housing is coupled with rotation drive.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of trapping mineralized layer.
