FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of water circulating in processes of polymerization. Water removed from the polymerization process of vinyl monomers is subjected for treatment for removal or deactivation of present agents of chain transfer that ensures to use water repeatedly in processes of polymerization. Polluted water containing dialkyldithiocarbamate or ketonethiosemicarbazone as an agent of chain transfer is contacted with cation-exchange resin in hydrogen form before circulation or acidified and then contacted with anion-exchange resin in hydroxide form. Method provides preparing a filtrate from reactions of vinyl polymerizations that is able to recirculate into process and participate in the following polymerization reactions.
